- Norwich set to sign left-back Marvin Zeegelaar from Sporting Lisbon to replace Martin Olsson who was sold to Swansea for ￡4m.
- Zeegelaar was only signed from fellow Portuguese top-flight club Rio Ave for just £430,000 a year ago and has since received a call-up to the Netherlands squad.
- Relegated Norwich has to sell more players to invest in new players. 30% of club wages are currently going to the players who are not in the first team.
